TX = Jobs AND/OR Jobs = TX

TEXAS rocks! but you already knew that.  according to the The Real Estate Center at Texas AandM’s Monthly Review of the Texas Economy our great state created 19.4% of total jobs in the US from September 2010 to September 2011.  we gained 248,700 ‘nonfarm’ jobs during this the period which puts our annual growth rate at 2.4%….compared with 1.1% for the United States.  The state’s private sector added 281,400 jobs, an annual growth rate of 3.3% compared with 1.7% for the nation’s average. 

additionally Texas’ unemployment rate is 8.5% while the nation leads at 9.1%.
